CORE STABILIZATION CLASS SCHEDULE

What is Core Stabilization?

Location:
Fort Ruger Park aka Triangle Park, Diamond Head

Schedule:
Saturdays 8-9am
Wednesdays 5-6pm

First two sessions of the month are Basic Core Stabilization.
Last four sessions are Intermediate Core Stabilization.
Cancellation due to weather will be posted (1) one hour prior to session/class. Makeup sessions/classes will be honored in the last week of each month.

The sessions are $12 each or $72 for the six (6) class series, also the Living Social Promotion offers participants 10% off of a Personal Training Package ($560 - 10% = $504/$63 per session)

Description:
After completing the instruction, you will be able to:
• Understand the importance of the core musculature
• Differentiate between the stabilization system and the movement system
• Rationalize the importance of core training and it’s benefit to your overall fitness and health
• Perform basic core exercises that are designed to improve the functional capacity of the stabilization system involving limited motion through the spine and pelvis
• Perform core strength exercises that involve intermediate dynamic eccentric and concentric movements of the spine throughout a full range of motion


WHAT TO BRING TO GROUP SESSIONS/CLASSES:

  • Towel/Mat




  • Stability ball




  • 3-5 lbs. hand weight




  • Completed Informed Consent Form





  • *Some modifications can be made to the exercises without the stability ball and or/ the 3-5 lb. weight, however, there are several exercises that cannot be modified
