ELITE CERTIFICATIONS THAT DEFINE INDUSTRY STANDARDS

• The ACSM was the first organization to certify health fitness professionals. The organization is the largest sports medicine and exercise science entity in the world and continues to set the highest standards in the fitness industry. ASCM establishes the exercise guidelines that ALL other certifications use for training and certification. ACSM certifications are NCAA-accredited, meeting the highest qualifications. A four year degree is required.

• NASM certifications are the most sought after because of the OPT (Optimum Performance Training) model that its systems and methodologies represent and are often referred to as the "Gold Standard" in fitness. The organization's certifications require the most comprehensive knowledge of human movement science, functional anatomy, physiology and kinesiology, as well as functional assessment and program design. NASM provides the Senior Fitness Specialist (SFS) designation.

• NESTA provides the MMACC (Mixed Martial Arts Conditioning Coach) certification with biomechanics, sports nutrition, sports psychology, kinesiology, and exercise physiology as it pertains to MMA. The organization is regarded as the top resource for sport specific conditioning drills, Olympic weight lifting, power lifting, bodyweight, TRX, and kettle bell training for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Muay Thai, Kick Boxing, Wrestling, Judo, Sambo, Vale Tudo, K1, and others.
