Myles Dias, Gary Campbell and Neal Otani of the Saint Louis High School 1971 Interscholastic League of Honolulu Champions!
Myles Dias has been involved in sports and fitness in Hawaii for over 30 years -- as an athlete, trainer and coach.
A graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa (BA in Communications), Myles has earned three of the most prestigious personal training accreditation's:
The National Excercise & Strength Training Association (NESTA);
The American College of Sports Medicine certification (ACSM);
The National Academy of Sports Medicine certification (NASM);
He has designations as a Senior Fitness Specialist (SFS) and as a Mixed Martial Arts Conditioning Coach (MMACC). Myles has completed coursework in Speed, Agility, and Quickness (SAQ) training , and Weight Management Training (WMT). He is certified with the American Heart Association in the Heartsaver AED program and is also an authorized bodybugg practitioner.
Myles was an All-State, All-Interscholastic League of Honolulu football standout at St. Louis High School. He was also the captain of the soccer team and lettered for four years at St. Louis. After graduating from the University of Hawaii, Myles played semi-professional soccer in Honolulu and Seattle.
In addition, Myles has over 15 years of business experience with corporations and non-profits. Prior to starting Myles Dias Fitness he was a Personal Trainer 2 for 24 Hour Fitness at the Hawaii Kai location and was later hired as a Master Trainer at the Honolulu Club. Once Myles Dias Fitness was started he began working with, General Population Clients, Special Population Clients (Senior Citiizen's ) and Athletes. In addition to training individual Senior Citizens he has contracted his services to the Kahala Nui Retirement Community and is the only authorized Personal Trainer on property. Myles has provided the Honolulu community with sports clinics and fitness instruction, training intermediate, high school, collegiate, and professional athletes in speed, agility, quickness, and sports performance conditioning. He was a sports conditioning coach with the Center for the Enhancement of Human Performance (C4), where he worked with teams including:
- The Kamehameha Boys Varsity Baseball team
- The Kamehameha Girls Varsity Softball team
- Hawaii Pacific University Baseball team
- Members of the Punahou Boys Varsity Baseball team
- Members of the Kaiser Girls Varsity Soccer team
- Mixed Martial Arts Athletes including Professional Mark "The Shark" Oshiro
- Various athletes from the OIA and ILH between 8-18 years of age
- Professional Golfer
- College & High School Women Volleyball Athletes
- Elite Canoe Paddler
